BLACK. LIVES. MATTER.

Is a figure of speech we use every once in a while.

Let's talk about how BLACK lives don't really matter even if it is a child.

They say life is short but BLACK LIVES IS SHORTER

How is it when we get Pulled over by a COP we get SHOT for misinterpretation of an order

Our ego is different - coily hair and BROWN glowing skin

our strength comes from the motherland within.

I TOO have feelings Just like all people do

But seeing our beautiful BROWN skin anger and aggressiveness from you.

It's hard to walk around my neighborhood when all WHITE people think I’m gang-banger or thug

NO MATTER HOW NICE YOU ARE THEY STILL WILL JUDGE!

So why bother proving to the judge who you really are as a person?

Feels like the more we keep pushing the more they step on us and drag us down til’ they see blood.

Life is crazy, it's a messed up world.

People use assumptions based on the color of your face.

I always want you to know that.

NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO IN LIFE WHY IS IT ALWAYS ABOUT RACE?

Nice Cars and Big Houses is what they don’t expect

The only thing they think of is a suspect

Walking round’ being black on this ground as a child Is very scary to bare with cause you don’t know if you’re next

So let’s remember those who lost their lives from these unwanted attacks

Because Martin Luther King DREAM isn’t finished YET.
